- Earned All SEC honors his sophmore year

- All SEC honorable mention his junior year

- Was Co- most valuable player for Kentucky his senior year

- Became the FIrst African American captian of any SEC team

- Was named SEC Legened in 2013 for the impact he had on the SEC

- Inducted into the University of Kentucky Hall of Fame 

- Inducted into the University of Kentucky Athletics Hall of Fame

 

Officiating Awards: 

-Officiated 3 SEC championship games 

-Officiated 2 Rose Bowl games

-Officiated Fiesta Bowl
